Healthy smiles start early
Milk teeth matter. They help children chew, speak clearly and hold space for the adult teeth that follow.
Our care for children is built around prevention: regular check-ups, fluoride application to strengthen enamel, and pit and fissure sealants that protect the grooves of back teeth from decay.
When treatment is needed, we use child-friendly anaesthesia and simple explanations. We offer pulpotomy and pulpectomy for infected milk teeth, stainless steel and tooth-coloured strip crowns, space maintainers, and appliances to help stop thumb-sucking and guide jaw development.
When to bring your child in
A first visit by the first birthday, or when the first tooth appears, is ideal. Come in sooner if you notice any of these.
- Brown or white spots on the teeth
- Toothache or sensitivity to sweets
- Swelling on the gum near a tooth
- A milk tooth lost early through decay or injury
- Thumb-sucking beyond the toddler years
- Crowding or a bite that does not look right
Many problems in children are easier and quicker to treat when they are caught early.

Common questions
By their first birthday, or within six months of the first tooth appearing. Early visits are mostly about getting comfortable and preventing problems.
Infected milk teeth cause pain and can harm the adult teeth developing underneath. They also hold space for those adult teeth.
It is a root canal treatment for a milk tooth. It removes the infection, ends the pain and lets the tooth stay until it falls out naturally.
Sealants are a quick, painless coating on the chewing surfaces of back teeth that helps prevent decay in the deep grooves where most cavities in children start.
